Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #321

A speedy card for this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I bought the Party Balloons Stamp & Thins Cuts from CTMH with plans to use it in my Spring Card Workshop, and it got cut from the lineup due to "too many ideas and not enough cards!"  But it seemed like the right choice for this weeks AHSC . Using the pretty watercolour striped paper from the True Love Paper Packet as my background I thin cut the balloons, string, bow and sentiment banner in White Daisy, Ballerina, Sage, and Mint cardstocks .  All stamping was done using Sapphire Ink .  A bitty sparkle for my bow and a few careful swipes of Clear Shimmer Brush on my balloons finished my cards.  I say careful swipes because both the Shimmer Brush and Sapphire Ink are waterbased which will make the ink run, so I only painted the cardstock and not the ink! Close to My Heart really does make it quick and easy!  Thank you for stopping by, and I appreciate your comments, I hope I have inspired you to come to

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #319

Products I used for this card are  Pansy and Lilac cardstock , Silver Heat Embossing Powder , Pansy Ink , and a Sugarplum Glitter Gem for my flower centre.  The Thistle Extra Thick Twine is retired but a perfect addition to the "purple card!.  The stamp set is from the Seasonal Expressions 1 and is called Dandelion Wishes (B1653).   The embossing folder is called Playful Scallops (Z4231) and can be found in the "Going Soon" section of on my CTMH website, I lightly sanded the ridges to bring out the white core of the cardstock (love this effect!).  The lilac tag was cut out using one of the Thin Cuts from the Fancy Tags collection (Z4305) .    This super simple card was definitely a favourite of the workshop, and I am going to keep this design in my stash as
