Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #305

We are fast approaching the end of February, and I need some SPRING!  The mild, wet coast has been having some very cold temperatures and snow this month in amongst the freezing rain and heavy fog that I am used to. Today is clear and sunny but cold so like everywhere in Canada a warm spring cannot come soon enough.  Needing a little happy spring brightness I choose to use the pretty flower paper from the So Much Happy Paper Packet for this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

The pretty sketch lent itself to a pretty card, and I used Peach cardstock from my half doily, and the doily is from the Cricut Artiste Collection (retired).  The laurel leaf branch (cut out in Clover) is from the Cricut Flower Market Collection.  The sentiment is from the Know I Care (C1752) stamp set, and it is stamped in Sapphire.  The pretty butterfly is from the Butterfly Friendship Stamp & Thin Cuts (Z4263) stamped in Sapphire and Lemon.  I also lightly sponged the edge of my card and the peach doily with Lemon.  A piece of Blue Burlap Ribbon (currently on Clearance) and a few mini staples and my pretty card is complete.

Thank you for stopping by, and I genuinely appreciate your comments.  I hope that I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Happy Crafting!
