Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #250!

I have been battling the dreaded winter sickness the past few weeks (thankfully, not the flu!) and I am still not better but nothing was going to keep me from participating in this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  We are at #250!  Feels like such a milestone and we are celebrating a little bit.  To join in the celebration next week I will be randomly drawing a name from those who play along with us for sketch #250 and sending the winner a little prize!
This weeks sketch from AHSC is a classic and I decided to turn the profile so that I could really showcase the beautiful paper from the CTMH paper packet, Gimme Some Sugar.  I just love the colours, the flowers, and the whole retro vibe of it.  I choose to use a rose silhouette found on the Cricut Flower Market Collection as my focal point and stamped it with Splash of Colour (D1733) in Bashful for the background and then stamped the Thank You in Peacock.  The Thank You can be found in this month's Stamp of the Month called Sunny Thoughts (S1802).  I wrapped the patterned paper with some white twine and inked the edges of my flower with a bit of Blossom ink for contrast.  A quick card but I love the simplicity of it really highlighting these beautiful papers.

February's Stamp of the Month!
Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments.  I hope I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts and good luck on winning a prize as we celebrate #250.

Happy Crafting!
