Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #235

Image
Last Saturday I went to a CTMH event in Victoria.  We had worked for a few years to make this happen and I am really glad we did.  We had a great group of "island girls" who joined in for tons of business discussion/learning and of course we created some fabulous projects created by the Home Office.
As I was helping lead for the day (I spoke a lot!) Pierre our Canadian General Manager with CTMH, gave me the lovely Falling For You Scrapbooking Workshop Your Way as a Thank You.  So I decided to make this weeks entry for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge with these papers. So lovely, so fall!  Instead of stamping the leaves I decided to fussy cut them out from the paper packet.  The Thank You is a Cricut cut from the Artiste Collection (retired) and I cut it out on Expresso Cardstock.  The scalloped edge is from the also now retired Scallop Border Punch from a few years ago.  I added a few mini staples and some of the sequins from the Bronze Sequins collection to finish off…

Atlantic Hearts #233

Image
This card and I are not the best of friends!  The vision in my head for this weeks sketch from Atlantic Hearts just did not work and then this didn't work, and that didn't work.  Some days!  But I have made myself be okay with this card and I think it kinda follows the sketch.
For this card, I used papers from both the Silver & Gold (background) and Beary Christmas (tree) paper packets.  Ruby Cardstock was used for my frame and deer which are both Cricut cuts and the star, banner and tree are all thin cuts from the Beary Christmas Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts set.  I stamped the sentiment in Ruby Ink.  The star is cut out on Gold Glitter Paper and the gold background stripe and the tree trunk is shimmer trim.

Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments.  I hope I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Happy Crafting!

October's Stamp of the Month

Image
Working hard on my annual Christmas Card Workshops and love this months Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart!  My only complaint is that none of the images have a Cricut cut soooo I made my own!  I have been playing around and learning with Cricut Design Space and love how you can take an image add layers, take pieces way, or create a hole in the middle of a fancy circle to create a wreath...

Products I used on this card are:
- Kraft Cardstock with my very favorite wood grain embossing folder (retired CTMH) - White Daisy Cardstock for my stamped wreath and the banner - Beary Christmas Paper Packet - Red Glitter paper for my Cricut Cut bow with is from the Artbooking Collection - October's Stamp of the Month stamped in New England Ivy and Cranberry - To finish off my card I used a piece of Rose Gold Foil Tape (retiring soon!) and a few rose gold sequins from the retired Florence Sequins.
Thank you for stopping by and if you have any questions regard this creation, my upcoming w…
