Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #213

I think in celebration of the sunshine finally arriving on the West Coast (we have had a very long, wet, Winter and Spring)  I instantly saw "sunshine card" when I looked at this weeks sketch from AHSC.  Using my trusty Cricut and all the great images from the CTMH Cricut Collections, I choose the sunbeam overlay from Artbooking and the Hello is from Artiste (retired) and the Sunshine is from Flower Market.

I used the wood grain paper from the Rustic Home Fundamentals, the yellow stripe paper is from the Whimsy Fundamentals and the words are cut out using Emerald and Tangerine Cardstock. The cut little butterflies are from the Dreamin' Big Cardmaking Bundle (which is unfortunately now retired).  I stamped the butterflies using Emerald and Tangerine inks and lightly sponged the edges with the opposite colour for contrast.  A few bitty sparkles and my tribute to the sun is complete!

I love quick, simple cards and CTMH really does make it easy.  Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments.  I hope I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts.

Happy Crafting!
