Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #201

When I first saw the Hello Lovely Papers from CTMH I thought pretty but (ugh) more flowers! I have a son so I am always wishing for more masculine/boy papers. Anyways, once you look a little closer at this collection you are gifted with some amazing Art Deco designs straight out of the Great Gatsby! My mum-in-law loves art deco design and I can't wait to show her this card, I am really happy how it turned out.
Following this week's sketch from Atlantic Hearts, I stuck very close to the sketch but did opt to leave the sentiment off as I really didn't want to cover up the paper. For an added design element, I cut half an inch off the front of my card base and put the seafoam patterned paper on the inside of the card base.
Other products I used on this card are the Seaglass Cardstock, Rose Gold Foil Tape and a couple of gold sequins. The flowers are from the Cricut Art Philosophy (retired) and Artiste (retired) Collections and the leaves are from the new Cricut Flower Market Collection. I love that I was able to find flowers that mimic the art deco design of the patterned paper!
My picture does not do the papers justice. I am currently looking for a better free photo editing program that has a bit more control over colour. The program I was using isn't available anymore and I keep trying out different programs but am not happy yet!
Thank you for stopping by, I truly appreciate your comments. I hope I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!
Happy Crafting.
agree with your sentiments - more boy/masculine papers needed. love your design.
