Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #152

Spring break is upon us! and happily so is Spring. Lots of pretty daffodils, crocuses, and snowdrops are popping up everywhere. With all this pretty spring colour as inspiration, I decided to use the lovely Penelope Papers for this week's challenge from Atlantic Hearts.
I really am enjoying the change Close To My Heart made to the new paper packetsm the additional patterned papers really do add to the creative process.

My Cricut was deployed for the fancy oval, banner, and the flowers. I fussy cut the house out and used my watercolour pencils to colour it in. I stamped the "the the neighborhood" sentiment directly onto the patterned paper (always a nail bitter!).
I swiped the edges of my card base and the background paper with Sapphire Ink to give it a little more dimension. A few spakles and my clean and simple card in Spring colours is complete.
I love clean and simple cards but sometimes I feel that it's not quite done. If I decide to add more to this card I will be sure to post an update.
Thank you for stopping by, and I truly appreciate your comments. I hope I have inspired you to come play along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Happy Crafting!
I love the little welcome banner!
