We will be drawing several names at random from the comments. To increase your chances of winning, leave comments for all of the design team members! And to be fair, you can only win 1 time! Please invite your friends and family to join the fun!

Thanks again for being part of our challenge community and we are all looking forward to the next 100 fabulous sketches and your awesome creations!  Happy Crafting!

For this weeks challenge I so wanted to play with the box of goodies I received that is full of new product from the Season Expressions 2 booklet which goes live April 1st.  BUT I made myself resist the temptation and wait till April 1st! With that in mind I went to my shelf of paper and randomly selected a paper packet and the winner is... "Free to Be Me"! This was a special paper packet that was put out last May to celebrate National Scrapbooking Month.  I wonder what lovely paper we will be getting this May...

Onto this weeks challenge from AHSC.  As always so lovely and so many possibilities...
Using my Cricut Art Philosophy to cut a fancy shape and it's overlay for my sentiment (this one is from page 37), I then cut out several of the various flowers to be found in Art Philosophy (have I mentioned before how much I love this Cricut Collection?).  I then light sponge inked the edges of my flowers using Canary, Sunset and Cranberry Ink.  I then swiped the edges of all my papers using Pacifica Ink and also stamped my sentiment which is from the Variety of Thanks (B1471) stamp set (which is a Hostess Rewards stamp set and retiring next week!)  I also very carefully sponge inked the edges of my overlay in Pacifica, I wanted it to have the inked edges but I didn't want it to be too heavy (like my flowers). I finished off my card with a few sparkles and some of the puffies from Junebug (so sad these are also retiring next week!)

Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments.  Here is the list of all the design team members who are participting this week and don't forget to hop thru and leave comments to have your name entered into the draw for some blog candy!  We also hope you get inspired and decide to come play along, we love to see what you create and you might get voted as one of the top 3 cards of the week.

Cross Canada Blog Hop... Easter Fun!

Welcome to our March Blog Hop featuring Easter Fun creations. To purchase any of the items seen in tour blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order. We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers... whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do. By leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like and what you want to see. Thank you... now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada than please start at the beginning and join Michelle at My Creations with Michelle. If you came from Heather at Inky Hugs then you are in the right place!

For this blog hop I decided to feature this pretty Spring Wreath that I created for a few recent workshops.  Now it might not be "Easter" with bunnies and eggs but to me Easter is Spring!
Using the lovely Brushed Paper Packet, I cut out all the flowers, rosettes, the banner and pretty bird using my Cricut Artiste and Cricut Art Philosophy Collections. Other products I used were the metal flowers from the Brushed Assortment, Pixie Extra Thick Twine, sparkles for the flower centers and the metal pins (that hold the butterfly's) are from my stash. The butterfly's are from the Your Own Kind of Wonderful (D1627) stamp set and stamped in Gypsy and Cranberry Ink.

I am the very last stop on this hop across Canada but if you are still completing the circle your next stop is back at the beginning Nova Scotia with Michelle of My Creations with Michelle. Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when our theme is April Showers bring May Flowers.  So mark April 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.

Happy Crafting!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #98!

We are almost at 100!  Time flies when you are playing with paper!  And embellishments and stamps and washi tape and pretty sparkly things...

I have been wanting to play with the Wanderful Paper Packet and the super cute Sightseer (C1534) stamp set for awhile and was just waiting for the right inspiration to hit.  This weeks sketch from Atlantic Hearts did the trick for me.

Other products I used for this card are:
- Cricut Art Philosophy for my ticket
- Arrow Washi
- Canary, Gypsy, Indian Corn Blue, Slate and Smoothie Ink for all the stamping
- Black Journaling pen.  I have seen several other CTMH Consultants do the super cute free hand drawn lines around their projects and have been wanting to give it a try.  So today I sucked up some courage and gave it a try... LOVE IT! I have a feeling you going to be seeing a whole lot more of this super easy and fun way to give your project just a little bit of whimsy.
Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments. Follow the link to check out all the great artwork submitted to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I hope you get inspired and decide to come play along. We would love to see what you create and you might get voted as one of the top 3 cards of the week.
