Between the Folds - Week 4
I have been wanted to get back to Between the Folds Challenge blog for a few weeks but as I mentioned yesterday, busy! Their new challenge went up this morning and it is... CTMH Cricut Cut.
For those of you who know me well, my cricut gets well used and rarely do I use a cartridge that is not CTMH. For me CTMH's five Cricut Collections more than meet my crafty needs. Yesterday, I was working on a card inspired by my friend Wendy at Stamping Rules, she created a card a few weeks ago using an adorable heart overlay from the new Artistry Cricut Collection and this is my version using the same overlay.
The patterned papers in my large hearts are from the Zoe Paper Packet and for my small hearts I used Sorbet, Glacier, Canary and Gypsy cardstock. For the banner (Cricut Artiste), sentiment, small stamped hearts and the background I used the super cute stamp set Oodles of Doodles (B1449) with Glacier and Lagoon ink. For the background using glacier ink I stamped the triangle across the sweet leaf cardstock alternating the pattern to create the chevrons. I purposely made it a bit messy with some overlap and larger spacing cause it doesn't always have to be perfect! Once I put it all together I finished my card off with some sparkles and aqua dots.
Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting.
P.S. sorry the colour is off in the photo, just can't seem to get it right. Some days are just like that.
