Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #104
We had a really mild winter here on the West Coast that became an early Spring and the last couple of days it seems like Summer has arrived. We have been reaching daytime highs in the 20's and the sunscreen is definitely being applied before we go play outside. Already had a some mild sunburns around here, not fun! Onto this weeks sketch from AHSC . I have made this kind of card a few times and thought I would share those this week. The first card I created for my Monthly Card Clubs a few months ago. I had seen several similar cards online and initially I wanted to do the masking tape technique for the ombre stamping but decided to use the Distressed Backgrounds (D1544) stamp set instead. The trick when stamping on multiple layers of papers like this is to really rock the stamp. I was going to put cardstock between the layers but I really liked the white space that the layers created with the stamping so I swiped all the edges in Pacifica Ink instead. The colours used f
