Onto this weeks challenge from AHSC. As always so lovely and so many possibilities...
Using my Cricut Art Philosophy to cut a fancy shape and it's overlay for my sentiment (this one is from page 37), I then cut out several of the various flowers to be found in Art Philosophy (have I mentioned before how much I love this Cricut Collection?). I then light sponge inked the edges of my flowers using Canary, Sunset and Cranberry Ink. I then swiped the edges of all my papers using Pacifica Ink and also stamped my sentiment which is from the Variety of Thanks (B1471) stamp set (which is a Hostess Rewards stamp set and retiring next week!) I also very carefully sponge inked the edges of my overlay in Pacifica, I wanted it to have the inked edges but I didn't want it to be too heavy (like my flowers). I finished off my card with a few sparkles and some of the puffies from Junebug (so sad these are also retiring next week!)
Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments. Here is the list of all the design team members who are participting this week and don't forget to hop thru and leave comments to have your name entered into the draw for some blog candy! We also hope you get inspired and decide to come play along, we love to see what you create and you might get voted as one of the top 3 cards of the week.

Cute card! Love using up my stash! I wouldn't have thought to use flowers with this, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on eliminating my paper stash so I don't have to move it into my new craft room this summer. It's so hard to see some of the favorites disappear though. Love your flowers with the puffies in the center! Happy 100th!
ReplyDeleteAHHH- Mazing!! I seriously love this graphic, funky mod paper! And I love that you dyed your flowers to match. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photo. Nice and clear! You should see the first photo on my blog! Than again, maybe not! Great card. Love the paper choice and the little puffies! Hugs, Debi
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cricut CTMH cartridges....I only have 2 so far....Artfully Sent and Artbooking.....they are awesome....and so is your card :) Hugs....Janie
ReplyDeleteGreat Card, lots of color, luv it. I had just asked my daughter if Free to Be Me paperpak could still be purchased. Now you have forced me to pull out that one piece of 12x12 Free to Be Me that I stole from my daughter's stash, and do something with it. Maybe this paper will be my next challenge.
