Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #96

This weeks sketch from AHSC is so CLASSIC! Love the simplicity that gives you a ton of ideas. I decided to followed the sketch closely this week and deployed the Cricut to make this quick easy card.
Products I used for this card are:
- Seaside Paper Packet which is so lovely and already has that distressed look to it. I did sand distress the edges to bring out the white core and further the shabby chic look of the paper.
- Glacier cardstock which I also distress by sanding with the strongest grit on my sanding block. I sanded it in a cross hatch pattern to really bring out the white core.
- Creme Brulee cardstock (retired CTMH colour) which I also sanded,
- Doodled Designs (A1170) I stamped the line circle several times in Glacier ink and then once in Lagoon to make the fun pattern and the Happy Birthday is from the You Mean the World to Me (B1467) stamp set.
I waffled on adding any bling, glitter, twine or other embellishments to this card and might at a later date. I am really liking it clean and simple with all the distressed edges...
