Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #96
We are having a beautiful early Spring here in BC, granted the nights are cold and we have super heavy fog in the mornings but the days are gorgeous. The clouds will probably roll back in in a few days and we will have our typical winter deluge until April but we are so super happy while we've got it! This weeks sketch from AHSC is so CLASSIC! Love the simplicity that gives you a ton of ideas. I decided to followed the sketch closely this week and deployed the Cricut to make this quick easy card. Products I used for this card are: - Seaside Paper Packet which is so lovely and already has that distressed look to it. I did sand distress the edges to bring out the white core and further the shabby chic look of the paper. - Glacier cardstock which I also distress by sanding with the strongest grit on my sanding block . I sanded it in a cross hatch pattern to really bring out the white core. - Creme Brulee cardstock (retired CTMH colour) which I also sanded, - Doo
