Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #76

What a weird day! And I am so relieved that I got my card done because I wasn't sure if it was going to happen... my mojo and decision making skills were not working in tandem today.
I LOVE this sketch and I know I will be using it again in the future. So simple and yet not. I found it surprisingly hard to find stamps that were small enough to do a collage on a card. I honestly tried several variations that just didn't work out for me today. I think it is also all the white space which can be a challenge to leave "blank" and a big part of me always wants to add something.
Once I finally started making decisions that my mojo liked, I decided that this card would be very "clean and simple" and I would try to only use one neutral with one or two added colours.
So, keeping that in mind I used only Colonial White Cardstock, Thistle Ink and Glitter Paper from the Teal and Purple packets. The Happy
Holidays sentiment is from the Perfect Fit - Holidays stamp set (B1412)
and I used the 1st and 2nd generation stamping technique to get the
light and dark shades.
The Christmas ball shape is from page 56 of
Artbooking and the gift is from page 60 of Art Philosophy. The blue
ribbon is from my stash. I attached the Christmas ball only using one
foam pop dot as I wanted to make it an option to remove it and make
it into a real Christmas decoration.
