Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #78!

Christmas Cards!  I have been very busy working on my big Christmas Card Workshop and it never sounds like much work until you do the math, 10 designs done 2 times each x 20 people = a whole lotta paper being cut and embellishments being counted out and everything being triple counted because I would hate for anyone to be missing anything! The first of 3 classes starts on Friday and I am in the home stretch for getting it all ready but the last card always gives me trouble, thankfully this weeks sketch from Atlantic Hearts came to the rescue. 
As always, super cute design and I decided I to do a retro Christmas type of card. I wanted to use these wonderful 6x6 Kraft Paper Cards that have a scalloped edged flap, they are a retired product from Close To My Heart but oh so fun! On this card I also used the retired Olive Mini Medley that can still be found on While Supplies Last. I love Mini Medley's and I am glad we still have several options available, they make it so easy to embell…

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #76

What a weird day!  And I am so relieved that I got my card done because I wasn't sure if it was going to happen...  my mojo and decision making skills were not working in tandem today.
I LOVE this sketch and I know I will be using it again in the future.  So simple and yet not.  I found it surprisingly hard to find stamps that were small enough to do a collage on a card.  I honestly tried several variations that just didn't work out for me today.  I think it is also all the white space which can be a challenge to leave "blank" and a big part of me always wants to add something.
Once I finally started making decisions that my mojo liked, I decided that this card would be very "clean and simple" and I would try to only use one neutral with one or two added colours.
