We
hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we
love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that
you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would
like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what
you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!
If
you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a
circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please
start at the beginning and join Michelle at
My Creations with Michelle. If you came from Karen of Clearly Precious then
you are in the right place!
My son started Kindergarten this year and I wanted to make a "folder" to hold all the extra special memorabilia like his report cards, the Christmas Concert pamphlet and those extra special art projects. Close To My Heart has a product called True Fit Folios. "These White Daisy cardstock file folders fit perfectly
inside 12" × 12" Memory Protectors™. You can scrapbook the front and back of the folder and then slip any kind of memorabilia inside." Using some of the elements from pages 68 and 69 of the new Artbooking cartridge I quickly created this super cute layout for my True Fit Folio.
Unfortunately the paper packet I used on this project is very retired, it was called "Typeset" and was just too perfect not to use! Other products I used for this project are Juniper, Creme Brulee and White Daisy Cardstock, the rusty brown cardstock is from my stash and very close to our retired Vineyard Berry. I stamped the "KINDER" using the Keyboard Uppercase Alphabet (B1416) in Juniper ink
This cute little project is just one of the dozens that I have planned with the new Artbooking Collection now I just have to find more time! Thankfully Artbooking does all the hard work and takes the guessing out when it cuts all the elements on a page to scale! I am the very last "stop" on this hop across Canada but if you are still
completing the circle your next stop is back at the beginning in Nova
Scotia with Michelle of My Creations with Michelle.
Thanks
for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get
creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along
the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be
featuring Home Decor projects. So mark May 15th on your calendars and
hop along with us.
