Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #52!!!

May is National Scrapbooking Month and Close To My Heart loves to celebrate this event by creating a special paper packet, this year the paper packet is called "Free To Be Me" and you will soon be getting some sneak peeks. But for this weeks card I decided to create using last years special paper packet called Dream Pop. Such fun paper, So bright! So cheery!
This card came together quickly and the background pattern paper is called "glossy resist" which for those of us who do not own an embossing machine it is a nice alternative (and it's shiny!) This pretty colour came in the Dream Pop paper packet and currently CTMH has a "Basics Assortment", I am hoping that we get tons of pretty colours with the new idea book in August...
For my flower I fussy cut it out of one of the patterned papers. I then took my exacto knife and carefully cut out the petals, gently bending them up to give my flower some pop! I gave it even more pop by using foam dots to attach it to my card. I used the zip strips from two of the pattern papers for the circles and sentiment and gave this card a little bling using Silver Shimmer Trim (such a quick and easy product!) and a few bitty sparkles.
Done. No stamping, No inking, CRAZY!

This is so pretty! I love the way you cut the design out to make it dimensional! Great use of zippies also!
