In a challenge kind of mood...

So I have been in a little creative funk the past several days and in trying to get some inspiration I have been looking at a ton of "challenge" blogs.  So for this blog post I am going see how many I can enter and hopefully get my groove back.  

For this card I recreated a design I did a few weeks ago for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge using different paper and colours.  For this card I used Cotton Candy and Lagoon Inks and the striped paper is from the Skylark Paper Packet. I wanted a bright Birthday Card for a very bight girl.  

Challenges I am entering:

- Heart 2 Heart Challenges - Hearts Galore This weeks theme is "Hearts" which you can interpret any way you like.  Now I don't officially have a "heart" on this card or do I?...  If you look at the flower petals I think you might see some hearts...
- Seize the Birthday - Time For A Little Love.  This weeks theme is "Anything Goes Birthday" with a "Heart" Topping.  Once again do I have a heart on this card or don't I? Flower petals...

- Shopping our Stash - SOS #138: Oh Shiny!   The theme is to use something shiny on your card and I think I managed to add some bling.

- Just Add Ink:  JAI #202 Just Add Stripes  Love the Lagoon striped paper from the Skylark Paper Packet from Close To My Heart.

Well that's 4!  I think I am going to go make another card and see how many challenges I can meet with it...

Ariana and Delicate Wings...

Working on cards for my monthly Card Club and I love to use "challenges" to help me focus (sometimes I have too many ideas and not enough paper!).  Challenges are not only helpful but also a lot of fun. Products I used to make this cards are the very pretty Ariana Paper Packet , the sentiment is from the Joyful Birthday Stamp Set (B1419 ) and the current Petite Perks - Delicate Wings (ask me how you can get yours free!) for the stamped images. All stamping was done in Indian Corn Blue Ink and all products are from Close To My Heart.  Some of the challenges that inspired me for this card are: Heart 2 Heart Challenges: Pantone Spring 2014 Color Challenge The challenge is to use one (or more) of the Pantone Spring 2014 colors on your project; only neutrals such as white, cream, tan, gray, or black may also be used.
