Cross Canada Blog Hop... December!
Welcome to our December Blog Hop featuring creations that we plan to
give as gifts this Christmas. To purchase any of the items seen in
our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.
We
hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we
love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that
you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like
to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you
like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!
If
you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a
circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please
start at the beginning and join Michelle at My Creations with Michelle. If you came from Karen of Karen's Clearly Precious Impression then
you are in the right place!
I did make a few sets of these home decor trees last year using the lovely Pear & Partridge and decided to make a set again this year as a special gift. Initially I was going to use the Frosted Paper Packet for this set of trees but I found this pretty paper stashed away and just knew it was the right fit for this gift.
All cuts were done using my Cricut Art Philosophy and Cricut Artiste Collections. The flowers are Art Philosophy pg 39, the
trees are Artiste pg 53 and my very favorite bow is also Artiste and
can be found on pg 55. I lightly sponged the edges of the flowers and the bow using Barn Red Ink and the center of my flowers are Mocha Opaques. I also sanded the edges of my tree bases to give them an antiqued distressed look by exposing the white core of the paper.
I am the very last "stop" on this hop across Canada but if you are still
completing the circle your next stop is back at the beginning in Nova
Scotia with Michelle of My Creations with Michelle.
Thanks
for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get
creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along
the way. Join us again in the New Year when we will be featuring some of
the products that will be retiring, so if you see anything you would
like to create, this could be your last opportunity to purchase them.
We hope you will join us again on January 15th, 2014.
Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting!
Those are so pretty, well done!
