Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle at If you came from Famida of Get Scrappin with Fami then you are in the right place! apologies for missing June's blog hop but some times creative block happens, it almost happened again this month!

I think our theme of featuring retiring product is a great idea but as many of you already know much of what is retiring is already gone. Surprised me a little how fast some of it went but I understand that a good thing does go quickly! I was unsure what to do for this blog hop but then I had an epiphany (no not a seizure) The For Always Cardmaking Kit!  Now to be clear the For Always paper packet and it's compliments are NOT retiring BUT the Card Workshop On The Go is...

I will draw your attention to the stamp set which is retiring.  I have used this stamp set many times over the past few months and love it's versatility!  Thankfully I took a picture of it when it was still new so that you can get a good look at it (mine is now all pink for happy stamping!) and see many more uses for this stamp set in the years to come.

I did recreate the cards as per the instructions in the workshop and loved how they turned out.  I decided to use Close To My Hearts picture of the cards as mine look pretty much the same.

I did make a few cards with some of the left over bits and pieces and this one was quick and cute.  The kit comes with Smokey Plum cardstock but I used a piece of Gypsy instead and sponged all of the B&T paper with Gypsy Ink as well as stamped the sentiment.

I would love to show you a few of the other projects that I used this stamp set on but unfortunately they are going to a few people who haven't seen them yet... but I will post them in a few weeks when the surprise has occurred.

Included in the kit:

1 – My Acrylix® For Always Cardmaking Workshop Stamp Set (C-size)
2 – For Always B&T Duos® Papers
4 – Cardstock Sheets (Slate, Smokey Plum, Whisper, White Daisy)
15 – White Daisy Cards & Envelopes
1 – Slate Satin Ribbon (5 yards)
1 – Purple Sparkles (72)
1 – Instructional Brochure

A great deal for $29.95 plus shipping & taxes. And only available until July 31st!

I am the very last "stop" on this hop across Canada but if you are still completing the circle your next stop is back at the beginning in Nova Scotia with Michelle of  My Creations with Michelle.
Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, paper and techniques seen along the way. Join us again in August when we will be featuring our Kraft products.  We hope you will join us again on August 15th.

  1. Great idea on using the workshop for this paper packet, because if they buy the kit, they continue using it by just purchasing more paper, since it will be around for another 6 months.

  2. Great use of the 'left overs' from the kit, it is important to show how you can use up all the bits that come in our kits.

  3. I love it! Mine is on order & I can't wait to get my hands on it :)

  4. Mine is coming to-day. Love this paper. glad it will be around for while.

  5. Great idea! We are using this card kit for one of my clubs this month, and it's great to show that you can do more with this kit than just what's instructed. And I agree -- this is a stamp set I will use A LOT. Nice job!

  6. I love the cards! I didn't get this kit, but I think I will have to go check it out and go through the While Supplies Last section too and see what I can still get! Thanks and great job!

  7. Loved this WOTG and love how you made it your own

  8. Great card. I wasn't a big fan of the WOTG cards, but I love the stamp set, and like you's only available in the kit.
