Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #10!

Happy Canada Day! The sun came back this weekend and in the Alberni Valley (where I live) it feels like someone turned the heat way up! It is currently 30'C and the weather network says it feels like 37'C. We love it but it takes a bit to get use too especially when it was only 20'C a few days ago. Hello summer... swim lessons and sunburns here we come!
We are already at week #10 for the Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge and as always Michelle created a super fun sketch for us to play with! We have had a number of new babies recently and I have been trying to keep up with all the welcome cards. This week I needed to make another hello baby card but this one needed to be a little divergent from the norm as it is for a co-worker of my husbands and well my husband is a little divergent. :) LOL If I made him a flowery, cutesy welcome baby card I do not know if it would actually get delivered!
After several minutes of fussy cutting I decided my robot needed a little more colour so I used my Lagoon Alcohol Marker to fill in some of his details and I used the Pear Alcohol Marker on the large dots of my space ship. I then added a few of the Blue & Green Epoxy Bubbles and finished my card off using the ever present and my very favorite Stardust Glitter Glitz Gel!
Thank you for stopping by and I truly appreciate your comments! Follow the link to check out all the great artwork submitted to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! I hope you get inspired and decide to come play along! We would love to see what you create and you may be voted into the top 3 cards of the week.
Happy Crafting!
I love that robot. Your card definitely makes me smile.

I really love this card, super cute. Like your masculine take on the card sketch.
ReplyDeleteCandra I love this card. I did not get to order any of the Later Sk8r and I think I heard it is gone. I love this paper and love your robot guy!
ReplyDeleteCute! Great idea for a masculine card!
