Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #3

Week #3! and I am so excited to have been chosen to be part of the design team.  Thank you Michelle and Darla, I hope I live up to expectations...

Once again Michelle gave us a "simple" design that is soooo NOT when it comes time to create!  I think my card this week may have turned out a little "bollywood"...

Using some of the delicious Dream Pop Paper with it's embossed card stock.  I used the grey with chevron pattern as my base and cut out the flower petals using my Cricut Art Philosophy (pg. 23 ). I fussy cut the little pink elephant and using some alcohol markers (pear, honey, gypsy), stardust glitter glitz gel and a few bitty sparkles gave him a little personality!

The sparkle flourish across the card tied it all together and gave my little elephant something stand on.  The "hello" is cut out from the top zip strip on the elephant paper.

I hope this happy little hello makes the friend who is going to get it in the mail smile!

Have you had a chance to check out Dream Pop yet??  It is only available for the month of May in honor of National Scrapbooking Month!
