Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #1!

Way over on the other coast fellow Canadian Close To My Heart Consultants Darla & Michelle have started a new sketch challenge blog!

As you can see Michelle created a super fun sketch that gets you started yet leaves lots of room for you to make it your own.

I decided to make a card using some of the wonderful Chantilly Paper along with Chocolate and Sunny Yellow card stock

The flowers and sentiment tag are cut out with the Cricut Art Philosophy and I used chocolate ink to edge the flowers and stamp the "Thank You".  This stamp is from the Casual Expressions stamp set and I added a bit of sparkle to my flowers and bow using  Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel.

The super cute metal bow was from the Boutique Assortment that was on the While Supplies Last a few weeks ago and the yellow ribbon was from my stash.

I think this turned into a very cute card that was quick and easy.  Congratulations to Darla & Michelle on their new blog and follow this link to see some of the other artwork created using this sketch!

Comments

  1. Great colour combinations! I always forget to use the darker cardstocks as backgrounds for my cards, very nice.

  2. Really like everything about this! The extra dimension of the flowers, the colours, all of it! Thanks for playing along with us.
