snuffle, sniff, sniff

Had to put that title!  It is the most heard noise in my household these days.. snuffle, snuffle, sniff, sniff.  Argh!  We keep getting cold, after cold, after cold!  So annoying.

Anyways, hope all is well with you!  I wanted to give a quick follow up to the Bridal Fair that I attended last week at the Barclay Best Western here in beautiful Port Alberni, BC.  It was a ton of fun, got to meet lots of neat new people and many of them are crafty!  I look forward to meeting with all them again to start on some of the many projects we discussed.

Speaking of projects in a few days I will be posting a new workshop for Mother's Day that we will be doing here in Port Alberni at "Beckonings Upcycled Furnishings & Home Decor"!  Super excited and just waiting to confirm a few details before I post all the important details.  I am also participating in the CTMH Cross Canada Blog Hop again this month and that project will be posted on Friday, so please come back and have a look at not only mine but all the great projects from other consultants across Canada.

A few pictures from my table at the Bridal Fair!

I should mention that this event is set up mostly for display and very few of the vendors do any selling on site.  So I made a few pretty things to showcase just a few of the hundreds of items I can make to help a bride get ready for her big day.  The most common question of the evening, "Did you make all those flowers on the "cake topper"?  Answer: Of course I did!  2nd question: How long did it take you?  Answer: In total... about 5 hours, I made it this morning!  (I am really quick at rolling flowers now.)

I made the adorable butterfly gift boxes to give to the brides, inside was a sweet treat and my business card.  It truly was a fun evening and I enjoyed meeting not only the brides but everyone who attended this event.
