My very first Blog Hop!

Welcome to the first Cross Canada Blog Hop of 2013, it is also my very first time participating in a blog hop and I am very excited to be joining in on the fun. Our January Hop is featuring a “Consultants Choice”, so each consultant has a unique project to share with you. I hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle at mycreationswithmichelle.blogspot.ca. If you came from Nancy's blog at nancyklein.blogspot.com then you are in the right place!

For my project I decided to showcase a 2-page layout that we did last September at Close To My Heart's Regional Convention in Edmonton.  I am known (ahem) for being a bit of a slow poke when it comes to putting those finishing touches (like pictures) onto layouts and getting them done!

But the real reason I wanted to show this layout is the paper! It is from the Clementine Paper Packet and like most people at first glance I thought "pretty, girl paper" but like many of the "girly papers" it actually can be very "boy" as well. As you can see by using Champagne and Cashmere cardstock with Saddle and Sorbet inks on top of the Twilight B&T, it really did become a great boy layout.   I love how my son's inside out and backwards green shirt really pops off the pages!

Close To My Hearts Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book and Catalog is just a few weeks away and in addition to the seven! new paper packets for us to play with I am very happy that Clementine along with Avonlea, Dakota and Scholastic are going to continue to be available!

I am the very last "stop" on this hop across Canada but if you are still completing the circle your next stop is back at the beginning in Nova Scotia with "Michelle" of " My Creations with Michelle ".

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects using some of the designs and paper seen along the way. Join us again in February when we will be featuring new products from the 2013 Spring/Summer Idea Book.
