A pretty present

My Mum-in-Law loves the Eiffel Tower and one day I will go to Paris with her to stare at it for hours and hours.  She is currently redoing her "dressing room" in a white furniture, shabby chic kind of way and I wanted to make her something special for Christmas.  I have been having tons of fun with CTMH's My Creations Bracket Frames and this is what I came up with for her.

The pretty paper is from my stash (aka no idea where I got it!), I used the "French Manor" Cricut Cartridge that I got with my new Expression 2 machine (yes I am spoiled rotten!) for the Eiffel Tower and little bird and my very favorite CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge for the flower and flourish.  Finished off with some green glitter glitz in the centers of all the flowers and the pretty clear green brad buttons (also from my stash).

To really make the Eiffel Tower "pop" in the frame, I cut it out three times and layered it using foam tape.  I also mounted the inside striped paper in the frame with foam tape to reduce the depth increasing that "pop"!

I think it turned out rather pretty!
